Nick Buckley talks Pride

51²è¹ÝÌýcontinues to celebrate LGBT History Month, with Nick BuckleyÌýdelivering a thought-provoking talk in the lecture theatre.Ìý

Nick, who is one of the College’s LGBTÌýChampions, discussed the importance of LGBT history, Pride and the continued persecution of the LGBT community.ÌýÌý

Nick, who is also a Learning and Development Mentor in the College, said ‘I’m passionate about making sure that the College is a place where all learners feel that they belong. The students were really receptive, andÌýit was a pleasure speaking to them and discussing some important issues’.Ìý

51²è¹Ý seizes every opportunity to promote equality and diversity amongst its students, and this event was one of many that contribute to the College’s inclusive environment.Ìý
