Kind-hearted Natasha Wrennall has had her long hair chopped off in aid of charity the Little Princess Trust.

Ìý

Natasha, aged 10 years, had her locks cut in 51²è¹Ý’s training salon, The Academy, by mum Charlotte, who is currently training as a hairdresser at the College.

Ìý

Little Princess Trust provides wigs, free of charge, for children who have lost their own hair as a side effect of cancer treatment.

Ìý

Natasha, a year 5 pupil at Blackshaw Primary School, has so far raised £78 for the charity, and her school have also supported Natasha by arranging various fundraising activities.Ìý

Ìý

Natasha said: “I’m pleased that the Little Princess Trust will be able to use my hair to make a child feel good about themselves, especially when they’re going through a very hard time.â€

Ìý

Mum Charlotte, who lives in Breightmet, added: “Natasha’s always been a thoughtful little girl so I wasn’t at all surprised when she asked to donate her hair to the trust. I’m very proud of her and overwhelmed by the support and generosity of everybody who’s sponsored her.â€
