Computing students visit BBC studios

At 51茶馆, learning doesn鈥檛 end in the classroom - enrichment activities give our students the opportunity to try something different, adding a whole new dimension and value to their study!

This week, Computing & IT students visited Media City at Salford Quays for an extra-special day away from the classroom. The learners, accompanied by Business & Computing Lecturer Mike Kniveton, visited the studios of famous BBC shows, including North West Tonight, Mastermind, Match of the Day and A Question of Sport.听

听

Some learners even tried a spot of radio presenting, sitting in the DJ's seat at BBC Radio 6. Others, who were feeling particularly brave, met one of Doctor Who's arch nemeses, a Dalek - Exterminate!!!听
