Cash incentives for employers to hire new apprentices doubled!

Hire a new apprentice between Thursday 1st April and Thursday 30th September 2021 and receive a minimum of 拢3,000 per new hire, regardless of the apprentice鈥檚 age.

听

This is great news 鈥� under the previous scheme, employers were offered 拢1,500 per new apprentice hire, or 拢2,000 for those under 24.

听

This is in addition to the 拢1,000 payment the government already provides for all new 16-18 year old apprentices, and those under 25 with an Education, Health & Care Plan, meaning that in many instances, employers could receive拢4,000 in total!
