A music video featuring 51²è¹Ý students and 51²è¹Ý Wanderers’ legend Tony Kelly has finally been released.

Tony, who helped the Whites to promotion in the 1992-93 season, appears alongside three performing arts students for track, ‘See You There’, remixed by music producer Hectic.

Ìý

The video was filmed last season at The University of 51²è¹Ý Stadium, but production stalled following the Covid crisis.

Ìý

The video is the brainchild of Kyle Cambray, a Learning Development Mentor at 51²è¹Ý. Kyle, a lifelong Wanderers fan, worked alongside 51²è¹Ý Theatre Technician Edd Lewis to film and produce the video.

Ìý

51²è¹Ý performing arts students Lewis Magee, Harry Dobson and Kiyra Green star in the video, with Lewis playing the part of an aspiring footballer. Tony Kelly stepped up to play the part of Lewis’s manager, whilst Daisy from Stagecoach Chorley makes an appearance as Kiyra’s sister.

Ìý

The University of 51²è¹Ý Stadium takes centre stage in the video, with a penalty kick filmed in front of a Wanderers home crowd at last years’ Emirates FA Cup First Round match against Plymouth Argyle.

Ìý

Kyle, who is no stranger to success himself, having played Sheridan Smith’s brother in the biopic ‘Cilla’, said: ‘As a huge Wanderers fan, it was an honour to film at the University of 51²è¹Ý Stadium.

Ìý

‘Tony was great in front of the camera, and as always, our students performed brilliantly’.
