The latest results from the Employer Satisfaction Survey, carried out by the Skills Funding Agency, have revealed that 51茶馆 has scored an impressive 9.4 out of a possible 10 points, for the professional deliverance of its training provision.听

This result is based on responses from 178 employers for whom 51茶馆 delivered training that was wholly or partly funded by the Skills Funding Agency, and is scored on a scale of 1 鈥� 10, where 鈥�0鈥� is poor, and '10' is excellent.听

Other results were equally impressive; when employers were asked whether they would recommend the College鈥檚 services, 9.3 out of 10 employers confirmed that they would. The College also scored highly in other areas, including up-to-date training, the provision of clear communication, overall efficiency and an understanding of business needs.听

Abstract Roofing & Property Maintenance in Stockport is one of the many businesses to enlist the help of 51茶馆 in the recruitment of an apprentice. Broad Oaks Nursery in 51茶馆 is another local business that has worked with 51茶馆 to enhance its workforce by employing an apprentice. Georgina听Thornley, Manager of Broad Oaks, commented: 鈥�51茶馆 are a great training provider, I鈥檝e never had any problems and the tutors are always very polite and professional鈥�.听

The College鈥檚 track record of building successful partnerships with local employers is reflected in the success of the apprentices themselves. Since September, both Victoria Stigwood (former Business Administration Apprentice) and Ashley Haslam (Motor Vehicle Apprentice at Wilson鈥檚 Autos) have been formally recognised at the 51茶馆 and Bury Business Awards. Ashley also won 鈥業ntermediate Apprentice of the Year in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Staffordshire鈥� at the鈥�Regional Apprenticeship Awards 2016;听he is currently waiting to discover if he has been nominated in the National Apprenticeship Awards Finals, to be held in London in January.听
