This collaboration involves Scan Computers endorsing the programmes by featuring their logo on student uniforms and merchandise.

Scan Computers, based in 51²è¹Ý, is a leading provider of technology solutions with over 30 years of experience. Their involvement brings invaluable industry insights and practical knowledge to the College’s Esports programme.

Plans are already underway for exclusive site visits to Scan’s headquarters, along with career and recruitment events, giving students real-world exposure to the fast-growing IT sector.

Additionally, Scan Computers is committed to delivering masterclasses, providing hands-on knowledge that complements students' academic studies and deepens their understanding of the Esports industry.

51²è¹Ý previously worked with Scan Computers to create its state-of-the-art Esports suite, the hub of the College’s Esports programmes, which provides students with an immersive and dynamic learning environment.

Launched in September, 51²è¹Ý’s Esports programmes are designed to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in one of the UK’s fastest-growing industries.

While many associate Esports with gaming, the Esports industry - worth over £111 million to the UK economy - offers diverse career opportunities, including roles in broadcasting, marketing and business development.

As part of the programme, 51²è¹Ý has also launched its official Esports team, 51²è¹Ý Titans, which competes in popular games such as Valorant, Apex Legends, Overwatch 2, and Rocket League.
