Blerta, a Level 3 Business Admin apprentice, won 'Best Young Worker' at 51²è¹Ý Council's annual staff awards, 'Best of 51²è¹Ý'.

Blerta, who works for the council's marketing team, secured her Apprenticeship after completing an industrial placement at the council. She was encouraged to apply for an Apprenticeship after impressing her colleagues with her excellent work ethic and commitment.Ìý Ìý

The ceremony, which was held at the Albert Halls,Ìýcelebrates the workÌýcouncil staff do to improve the quality of life for everyone in the borough. Blerta, a Marketing, Events & Communications Assistant, won the accolade despite some tough competition.
