This course is for Hairdressers who may have been out of the industry for a few years and need to refresh their cutting skills.

This course is delivered by industry professionals in our 'state of the art' Hairdressing studios at Deane road.

You will learn basic cutting techniques to refresh your skills. Techniques will include a one length cut, long graduated and short graduation. A demonstration will be given for each cut.

You will hold a Level 2 Hairdressing or equivalent qualification. Please come to class wearing smart clothing and closed toe shoes. If English is your second language, you will need to hold an Entry 3/Level 1 or 2 qualification

Assessment will be on models or mannequin heads. The trainer will observe your skills and give you feedback which will allow you to improve and perfect your new techniques.

To ensure success on this course you must commit to attend with excellent punctuality. Please bring a model or a head block along to the course.

Assessment

All learners will complete an individual learning plan which will be discussed with their tutor throughout the course.
